Next Meeting Wednesday, 11th September, 2013 from 5:30pm
to 7:00pm
Is it that time again?
These meeting roll around very
quickly but we need to keep things moving.
I hope you've been keeping an
eye on the progress at the garden as we've been busy with removal of the green
waste and now have some of the steel in for the raised garden beds. The
gang from the Beechworth Corrections Centre will be at the garden on Wednesday
to lend a hand to put the sleepers in place. A few of us attended a
working bee on Saturday morning to lug the lengths of steel into place (the
blokes did most of the lifting) but we mere females did pitch in to a certain
extent. It was a gorgeous day again so it wasn't unpleasant and when we
weren't lifting we were discussing the watering system and placement of steps,
retaining walls and hot house etc.
These items will be talked over
at the meeting on Wednesday so I hope you can come and offer your insight.
I have attached the Agenda and
Minutes for you to read prior to Wednesday. If you have any questions,
please bring them along.
P.S. Remember we have a Workshop on Grafting on this
Saturday from 9.30 to 11.30. If you would like to attend please let me
know.
