We have had trouble with slugs in the garden, and the Broccoli is being nibbled.
So
armed with some stale beer, we set "beer traps". Very simple and very
effective. The key is to use a deep enough jar that when the slugs fall
in, they can't get out. Simply bury the jar so that the lip of the jar is at ground level.
And what to do with the empty beer cans? Why not try turning them into lanters?
Loving this blog. Great work guys. Elaine
